Thomas and Friends Take-n-Play Rescue from Misty Island
This great little train set is based on the latest Thomas and Friends movie, Misty Island Rescue, and as you probably know… Thomas and his friends is a forever favorite with almost all little boys and girls. In the movie, Thomas and the other engines are helping to build a search and rescue center on Sodor Island. Thomas gets lost at sea on his way to the mainland and ends up on the mysterious Misty Island. There he meets some new friends who help Thomas find his way home.
The Take-n-play Rescue from Misty Island train set has Misty Island on one side of the set. This side has the brown track. The other side has a silver track to represent the Island of Sodor. When Thomas goes from one side to the other he has to cross the Shake-Shake bridge that does actually shake as he crosses.
Probably the best thing about all of the Take-n-play train sets is the fact that they are completely portable so even if you want to take this with you to other families Christmas parties, holiday get togethers, it will travel very easily. They fold up for easy storage and this also makes it easy for children to take their favorite set with them wherever they go. It is also a bonus for parents because there is nothing more painful than standing on a toy train that has been left out in the middle of the floor.
Little hands have no trouble folding out this train set and playing with it. It is very easy to reassemble the tracks for variations in play. It also has upper and lower levels, the shaking bridge and a tunnel. Just the kinds of things that little boys love.
This set comes with one Thomas die cast model. There is also a logging crane on the main part of the set. This crane can be used to break through the logs and reveal the tunnel through to Sodor Island, or to load up Thomas and his friends with logs to take through to Misty Island.
All Take-n-Play products have the ability to be able to connect to each other. The fun can really be extended then. That makes this train play set even moreso great value for money. children can build to their heart’s content when they have one or more Take-n-play train sets and will be entertained for hours on end.
